Reimagination of the Day: Michael Tyznik’s contribution to Richard Smith’s Dollar Redesign Project eliminates the $1 bill and replaces it with a $1 coin (hence Washington on the $5).
Further, Tyznik does away with the familiar mottoes and symbols (most notably, “In God We Trust”), and replaces them with a segment of the Bill of Rights (two amendments to a note).
Tyznik says:
I think one of the most important things about America is our Bill of Rights. I think it is probably the most important information any citizen can have, and for that reason, it is printed on the back of the bills.

Absolutely brilliant.
